MASA is working to help shape the future for ambulatory surgery centers by:
- Testifying before and meeting with legislators on bills that may impact the ASCs ability to provide quality care, maintain operations and structure rates.
- Providing educational seminars and conferences with leading healthcare experts, health policy officials and key legislators.
- Maintaining a statewide database to serve as an information pool for members on compliance and regulatory issues, administrative procedures and licensing requirements.
- Educating the public through the media about community based ASCs, the kind of quality care they provide and the choice they offer to the healthcare consumer.
